Jumana is an accountant passionate about helping entrepreneurs and business owners reach their financial goals. In 2019, after over a decade of working in a corporate environment, she joined the accounting and consulting team at MKS. She chose MKS because of the company’s dedication to fostering lasting client relationships and their ability to offer a holistic value to help business owners reach their goals. She brings over 12 years of controllership experience performing accounting, consulting, and compliance services for businesses.
Jumana grew up in Kenya and came to the United States in 2001 to pursue a degree in accounting at Concordia College, Moorhead. Upon graduation, she entered the workforce, and soon after completed her CPA exam. She started out her career working for a national public accounting firm in downtown Minneapolis practicing audit and tax services. She then moved to a fortune 300 Company to work in a controllership role. Her controllership experience includes preparing and analyzing financial statements, improving internal processes, and leveraging technology for efficiency.
Jumana enjoys spending her free time with her husband and two kids. Her personal interests include devouring a great book (Harry Potter is a favorite), exploring nature and traveling.
